Unfortunately here in Coventry, our weather isn't the best on the map; so older buildings are subject to weather damaged exteriors, especially if the building was a lime structure and then repointed using cement as this prevents the brickwork from breathing, and pushes the moisture back inside. Cement shouldn't be used on a lime built property
